KYRA JEWELLERY – RETURNS, REFUNDS & CARE POLICY

At Kyra Jewellery, we strive to support our clients wherever possible. However, due to stringent health and safety standards, our ability to accept returns or issue refunds is limited. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re here to help.

QUALITY ASSURANCE

All items are carefully inspected before dispatch to ensure they meet our quality standards. We take pride in delivering exceptional service and products that reflect our commitment to excellence.

 

DISCOMFORT & ALLERGIES

Customers are responsible for understanding any personal sensitivities to metals, finishes, or plating before placing an order. Our pieces are primarily crafted from stainless steel and 316L surgical steel, with some designs featuring decorative brass elements finished with IP, PVD, or Rhodium plating.

While stainless steel complies with EU nickel regulations (up to 12%), individuals with high sensitivity may still experience reactions. Kyra Jewellery cannot guarantee against allergic responses and does not offer refunds or exchanges for discomfort or allergies.

If you’re unsure about the materials used in a specific item, please contact us before purchasing.

 

SIZING & SAFETY

Please ensure you select the correct size when ordering. Kyra Jewellery is not liable for exchanges or replacements due to incorrect sizing.

Our products may contain small components that pose a choking risk. Keep all jewellery out of reach of children and individuals who may accidentally ingest parts. Unless explicitly stated, our products are not intended for children under 12 years of age.

 

TARNISHING & WEAR

Tarnishing is a natural chemical reaction that occurs when jewellery is exposed to air, moisture, body products, and environmental factors. Over time, this may cause the metal to darken or change color. While tarnishing is unavoidable, proper care can slow the process.

Wear and tear refers to the gradual changes jewellery undergoes through regular use. Metals may bend, scratch, or lose their original finish due to friction, pressure, or repeated movement.

Kyra Jewellery is not responsible for damage or tarnishing resulting from improper care or customer handling.

 

JEWELLERY CARE TIPS

To extend the life of your jewellery:

  • Avoid wearing it continuously, especially during sleep, exercise, or household chores.

  • Apply perfumes, lotions, and hair products before putting on jewellery.

  • Remove jewellery before bathing, swimming, or washing hands.

  • Store pieces in their original packaging to prevent scratches and exposure.

 

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Due to hygiene regulations, we cannot accept returns on items that have been opened, worn, or used in any way.

If you ordered the wrong item or no longer wish to keep it, you may return it within 7 days of receiving your order—provided it remains sealed, unused, and in its original packaging. All approved returns will be issued as store credit or discount coupons. Shipping fees are non-refundable.

Returns are subject to a 10% handling fee. Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.

 

DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS

If your order arrives damaged or defective (and the packaging shows no signs of shipping damage), please email info@kyrajewellery.co.za within 24 hours of receiving your parcel. Include clear photos of the item(s) and packaging.

We will investigate and, if applicable, replace the item(s) subject to stock availability. Damaged items must be returned to us before replacements are issued. Customers may not retain damaged items.

Please ensure all items are inspected immediately upon delivery—even if they are intended as gifts.

 

RETURN PROCESS

To initiate a return:

  1. Contact info@kyrajewellery.co.za with your reason for return and any supporting photos or videos.

  2. We will confirm the return shipping cost and issue an invoice.

  3. Once payment is received, we’ll schedule the collection.

  4. Returned items must be securely packaged. Items damaged in transit due to poor packaging will not be eligible for credit.

 

ORDER CANCELLATIONS

Orders may only be cancelled if they have not yet been packed or scheduled for shipping. If you wish to cancel after packing has begun, additional fees will apply and are the customer’s responsibility.

Refunds for cancelled orders will be issued as store credit or may be used toward other items.

 

ADDRESS CORRECTIONS

Please double-check your shipping details before placing an order. Any costs incurred due to incorrect addresses, missed deliveries, or redirection will be charged to the customer.
